Inaugural International Adult Safeguarding Conference

The Trinity College Dublin School of Nursing & Midwifery is  hosting the Inaugural International Adult Safeguarding Conference on 27th September 2023.

This Health Research Board-funded conference explores current issues in safeguarding adults in Ireland and internationally. The conference will enable attendees the opportunity to participate actively with the presenters during the keynote presentations and concurrent sessions.

International keynotes are from Dr Yongjie Yon, World Health Organisation; Professor Thomas Goergen, German Police University, Muenster, Germany and Professor Gillian Manthorpe, NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Workforce, King’s College London.

The conference is free-of charge to attend however pre-booking is required. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided for attendees.
