Many people have found themselves working from home this year since Covid-19 took effect. Some may, at some stage, return to the office life they once shared with others. Others may not.

It is becoming increasingly evident that many people will seek to continue working from home. Indeed, an estimated 30,000 people in the UK searched Google for “virtual jobs” in the month of June, clearly showing an appetite to shift their physical working environment towards a future “home office”.

The Guardian recently reported that “Homeworking has become a way of life for almost half of British workers, according to official figures that show a jump in the number of people working away from their office or factory.”

If remote working is to continue to rise and cause a major change in the way we work going forward, it’s worth checking out the different kinds of jobs that have a future online.
