Why take a HACCP course?

Similarly, HACCP Implementation & Verification courses can be taken in person or virtually. Both aim to help students to understand the legal requirements of the Hygiene packages. They will become familiar with the elements, hazard analysis and risk assessment techniques. Students will also understand the several principles and common terms of HACCP, as well as the importance of an effective prerequisite program. 

CIEH Level 2 – HACCP Principles have a total of 24 units. This includes an introduction, hazards and controls, preparation, implementation, recording and reviewing, applying HACCP based systems and consolidation and forms. Students will learn to conduct a hazard analysis and identify critical control measures, as well as creating a system to monitor the control of critical control points. Identifying when a HACCP based system needs to be reviewed and the appropriate documentation and record-keeping required will also be covered. 

Infection Control courses will cover the different microorganisms, how bacteria are transmitted, the chain of infection and infection prevention and control, and the impact of infection. Students will also learn about control and prevention of infection and cleaning and decontamination.
