Woodwork course -Follow on from Beginners class (Thursday)

This Woodwork course is designed for students wishing to further develop their hand tool skills and knowledge on from the beginner stage. It is also for those that have an interest in learning to make the different wood joints and crafting and use of same.

As a means to improve their problem-solving capabilities, students will learn about marking and processing timber, and using various hand held tools. The course will be over a 10 week period and each student will have to set out and aim to produce to an acceptable standard example a broad range of joint such as halving, mortice and tenon, bridal joints and dovetails to develop and improve their woodworking hand skills.
