How do you get certified?

This course leads to a QQI Level 6 Award in Managing People (award code: 6N3945).

Here are the steps for achieving this certification:

Step 1: Attend our 3-day, live virtual People Management course

During training, we’ll begin preparing you for your assessment work. Your trainer will take you through our detailed assessment brief.

We also provide you with access to useful course materials (slides, guidelines etc.) for your assessment work period.

Step 2: Complete your assessment work and further study

Once training has finished, you will have 8 weeks to complete your assessment work. During this time, you will carry out further, self-led study. This will tie in nicely with your assessment work.

Step 3: Submit assessment work & grading process

Once you have submitted your assessment work, it will go through a quality-assured grading process.

Step 4: Achieve your certification

Depending on the date you submit your assessment, you should receive your provisional grade within 1 month, and your physical certification within 3 months.

Choosing a “Skills Only” Approach

If you are interested in what we cover during this training, but don’t want to achieve certification, you have the option to attend only the first 2 days of training.

This means that you won’t cover all of the areas listed above, but you will gain most of the practical skills offered with this training.
