If you hold a QQI Level 5 Business related award, then why not take the opportunity to undertake further studies in advanced Business. Our level 6 award will equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills and competence for all
aspects of the business world. There is a large demand for people with business skills in the world of work. These courses will enable students to gain the skills necessary to manage the administration of any company or small business.
Students will learn about the administration skills required to do their job to a high standard and to supervise others within the administration department. The overall aim of the course is to provide the student with the opportunity to acquire the skills and competence to work independently or in a supervisory capacity and administrative role in the private, public or voluntary sector. These qualifications can be used to gain advanced entry to degree programmes in third level institutes.

| Career Path | Graduates from the Level 6 programme may apply for advanced entry on a range of level 7 or level 8 degree programmes in many universities or technological universities around the country. Alternatively, graduates may seek immediate employment in a range of business or marketing areas. The Pre-University Business option will allow students to progress to third level colleges and universities like Maynooth University, TCD, UCD, NCI, Technological University of the Shannon, TUD-Blanchardstown/City Campus/ Tallaght, DCU, Dundalk Institute of Technology. Business Graduates can also apply for entry on the over 175 places in First Arts in Maynooth University reserved for QQI entrants.
