Upcycling Dressmaking (UPC)

The antidote to fast fashion is upcycling. Upcycling your clothing is fun, creative and most importantly, environmentally sustainable. Fall in love with that garment again and create unique garments that will give clothes a whole new lease of life. This course will involve machine and hand sewing and is suitable for the experienced sewer who can use a sewing machine. Sewing machines are available, but students may instead wish to bring their own machine. Students should bring scissors, needle, thread, pins, and any garments that they wish to upcycle.
