Creative Writing: POETRY & PROSE-POETRY
8-10pm on Fridays
Start writing poems and prose-poetry in this specialist class. We begin with language and proceed through aspects of rhythm and form, look at prose-poetry and styles, leading to various types of poetry including abstract and realist. We will also look at the process of publishing your poetry. Submit poems each week. Option to share and receive feedback at weekly workshop. Includes Final Project submission. This is a powerful and enjoyable new course on poetry from MKCW – Committed to Excellence.
All mediums/levels welcome. Projects at any stage.
Starts Friday January 19th 2024 8-10pm
No class March 29th / April 5th.
