Creative Stitching – Contemporary Embriordery

Tutor: Carmen Garcia – Textile Artist
In this Creative Stitching course participants will explore creative expression through stitching. Experience is not necessary.
We will practice some basic stitches and will explore ideas and techniques such as appliqué, using paint and mixed media, stitching from photographs, using text etc
Participants will be encouraged to push boundaries and find their own way to express themselves through stitching.
