Assessments / Exams

This Professional Diploma in Bookkeeping and Payroll is divided into two main sections: Payroll Course and Bookkeeping Course. Each section includes specific modules and assessments, detailed below:

Payroll Course:

  • Manual Payroll Exam: 50% of the Payroll grade, completed in a workshop at the end of the course.
  • Computerised Payroll Exam: 50% of the Payroll grade, with one week provided to complete and upload.

Bookkeeping Course:

  • Assignment 2: A task from the textbook that forms the basis of data input work.
  • Data Input Exercise: Enter data from Assignment 2 into the Red Book system and generate three reports, with one week to complete and upload.

To receive the Diploma in Bookkeeping and Payroll, participants must achieve a pass grade on the written assignment. Overall course assessment consists of a project (70%) and a MCQ (30%).”
