Enrolling on a threading courses is the best way to learn about threading and hair removal. Originating from India and the Far East, threading is a method of plucking untidy hair using rolled threads. Threading avoids pulling on the sensitive skin around the eye and therefore prevents drooping of the eyelid. Subjects covered on courses include both methods of Threading (Hand and Mouth techniques) and how to create the perfect shape brow to suit the individual clients face shape and brow design. Threading courses also teach about face shapes and how to define the brows to best suit the client, history of threading, threading treatment procedure and more.
Threading does not harm the skin like wax and some depilatory creams can, because the top layer of the skin is not peeled or traumatised and it does not use potentially harmful heat or chemicals. It is an alternative for people with sensitive skin or those who suffer from acne.
