ASET is the Work Based Learning and Placement Learning Association.
The Association aims to advance the prevalence, effectiveness and quality of work based and placement learning in Higher Education. They represent over 100 Higher Education Providers in the UK.
Overview
The Association promotes and publishes research into work based and placement education. They also offer advice on best practice. In addition, they provide training and staff development opportunities. Furthermore, they run workshops and conferences. Finally, ASET supports a number of student placement bursaries. These are available member institutions.
Membership
ASET members have access to the Association’s research, good practice guidelines, workshops, conference and communications.
Members also have the opportunity to network and collaborate with colleagues as well as find support with identifying and meeting training needs.
