
The aim of this course is to enable the learner to work under direct supervision, providing assistance and support within an Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) setting and or to progress to further education and training.
This course is scheduled to run 2 evenings a week, Monday and Wednesday, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm for 10 weeks

| Entry Requirements | Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 3 when accessing a Level 4 programme. Mature applicants with relevant life and work experience. Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course. Applicants must be able to work under direction with some ability to work on their own initiative. |

Adapted Physical Activity (APA) is a specialised field that focuses on modifying and tailoring physical activities to meet the unique needs and abilities of individuals facing physical, sensory, intellectual or mental health challenges.
