
Adapted Physical Activity (APA) is a specialised field that focuses on modifying and tailoring physical activities to meet the unique needs and abilities of individuals facing physical, sensory, intellectual or mental health challenges. This course covers a broad spectrum of topics, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote inclusivity, accessibility and overall well-being through physical activity.
Competent written and spoken English (CERF B2 or Higher) for those whose first language is not English is a requirement.
This course will run on Wednesday evenings 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm and Saturdays 9.30 am to 4.30 pm in our Killorglin Campus for 9 weeks.

On successful completion of this module learners will be able to use equipment used in MMA welding safely in the 1F,2F and 3F positions in line with industrial standard EN9606-1 and health and safety requirements.
