Programme Overview: This programme prepares you for a role as an animal care assistand, where you will support veterinary staff and animal keepers. The training provides knowledge about animal behavior, animal healthcare, pharmacology, disease transmission, nutrition, and customer service. You will learn the basic anatomy of animals, routines in various examination rooms, how to understand and handle animals at the clinic, the equipment needed for various procedures, as well as procedures for blood sampling, X-rays, record-keeping, medication administration, vaccination, and more. You can choose to specialize in either horses or small animals.
We have adapted the course so that you can easily study alongside your work. Meetings (on Teams), webinars, and the online school are designed so that you can study on weekends/afternoons. You can choose to complete the training in one year (full-time) or two years (part-time). This means that the study period can be extended at no extra cost.
The teachers are highly qualifies. They are associate professors in administration, animal care and veterinary science. We work together with other veterinarians and experts in nutrition and veterinary vlinical equipment. We aim for high quality and practically oriented content in the study.
We have statistics showing that students who train with us have obtained jobs in clinics or similar professions. An e-academy has been educating animal personnel for 17 years. We have seen that there is a need for trained individuals, and animal caretakers will be in demand in the job market as there is a lack of trained personnel in many places.

This is because the lectures follow our annual schedule, which means that the subjects are repeated once a year. Additionally, we record all lectures and post them on the online school. That way, you can watch them whenever you want and as many times as you want. We have 10 online gatherings per year in addition to digital lectures available on the online school. 4 of them are for providing group guidance.
