Palmerstown Community School provides a variety of evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays with something to suit all tastes.
We aim to provide quality classes with the best tutors in a relaxed and friendly environment. So whether you want to gain a Q.Q.I Qualification, learn a new skill, get fit or get out of the house and meet people we have a class for you.
Tuesday Classes
Barbering, Basic Computers, Business Administration & Skills Q.Q.I Level 5, Business Management Q.Q.I Level 6, Carpentry & Wood Carving – A practical approach (Beginners), Computers MS Office, Crochet (Beginners/Improvers), Dress Making, English As A Second Language, First Aid Course, French (Beginners & Improvers), Guitar (Beginners & Improvers), Herbalism (Beginners) Irish conversation (Beginner & Improvers), Knitting (Beginners & Improvers), Maths – Practical Maths for Everyday Life, Meditation & Mindfulness, Oriental Cooking, Painting, Pilates, Sign Language (Beginners), S.N.A. Course – Q.Q.I. Level 6, Tai Chi, Ukulele (Beginners) and Yoga.
Thursday Classes
Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Companion Dog Training course, Cooking and Baking – Family Favourites-Beginner’s, Counselling & Psychotherapy, Creative Writing, Drawing and Sketching (Beginners & Improvers), Event Management, Hairdressing – Level 1, Hairdressing – Level 2, Head to Toe Beauty, Italian (Beginners & Improvers), Nails course (Acrylic, BIAB and Gel Polish), Purchasing and Procurement – Q.Q.I Level 6, Reiki Training Level 1, Setting Up Your Own Business, S.N.A (QQI Level 5), Spanish (Beginners & Improvers), Stained Glass Art – Beginners Stained Glass Art – Improvers/Advanced, Tai Chi and Yoga.
This year we are delighted to be working in partnership with The Open College and the Dublin City College to provide the following certified Q.Q.I courses –
Business Administration & Skills (Q.Q.I Level 5), Business Management (Q.Q.I Level 6), Purchasing & Procurement (Q.Q.I Level 6) S.N.A (Q.Q.I level 5) and S.N.A. (Q.Q.I Level 6)
We operate on a self financing basis, classes will run when the minimum number of students is reached to cover the cost of the class. Fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the class doesn’t run.
