
Course Description:
Ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? This 8-week course is designed for learners who have completed a beginners’ sewing class and want to gain confidence working with commercial patterns in order to produce their own clothes. You’ll learn how to read and interpret commercial patterns and instructions, choose suitable fabrics, adjust sizing, and assemble garments step-by-step. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills to make clothes that fit and flatter — and the confidence to tackle new projects independently.

Tutor: Jen Dwyer - Eyre Couture
Jen Dwyer is a fashion designer and stylist. She has worked for many years between the fields of film, theatre, and live performance, as a wardrobe stylist and costume designer. In 2014 she saw the need for fully inclusive and consciously produced bridal/occasion wear, and started her own label, Eyre Couture. She is also extremely passionate about teaching and has over 10 years experience as an art teacher and a sewing tutor.
