Pen & Ink - Beginners

Course Description:

A comprehensive skill of drawing specially designed for beginners to learn and experience the basics of pen and ink.
Aim of the course is to learn and develop your drawing rhythm using basic pen and ink tools and techniques.

Course content includes:
- History and introduction of the technique
- Developing textures
- Learning gradation and application techniques
- Pen and Ink projects

Learning Outcomes:  Learners will be able to
- control the line and pressure
- develop drawing in their own style and technique
- learn and implement the visual balance in their drawing

Course Day & Time:  Monday evening 7.00 – 9.00 pm

Start Date:  14/09/26

Cost: €120 (Note: This includes cost of materials for course)

Course Format: In the classroom with tutor

Duration: 6 weeks - Maximum of 10 students in class

Tutor: Kriti Khatri

Kriti is an international Artist and Designer from India who is currently residing in Dublin. She completed her Masters in Design from The National Institute of Design and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Delhi in India. She has closely worked with industries and
conducted workshops for the naval academy in India. Before moving to Ireland she was teaching as an assistant professor in various Design Institute and Universities. Her strength of working with materials and passion for Art and Design brought her new opportunities in Ireland. Today she is a member of DCCI and has been actively conducting workshops, design installation, and has been participating in events like Culture Night, Gifted at RDS, Clonmel Junction Arts Festival and many more across Ireland.
