Introduction to Nail Styling with BIAB /Gel Polish

Course Description:

Please Note: This course does not qualify you as a Nail Technician

This course is a powerful foundation for the growth and development of a beginner nail technician. Even if you want to learn BIAB nail application for yourself and not to use the skills professionally, you will find the course interesting and practical. 

Exactly 4 meetings will equip you in the necessary nail anatomy, tools, and products knowledge. You will also practice and get all your questions answered. 

During the course you will learn how to:

• perform a manicure and safely and correctly prepare the nails for BIAB
• learn about the differences between all types of basecoats and builders in a bottle
• compare hard gels and soft gels
• refill and rebalance the enhancements 

Training plan:

Week 1. 

• Nail anatomy, highlights to the most important information
• Discussion about products, tools and equipment
• What is BIAB and practical check on it’s different types
• natural nail prep demo

Week 2. 

• natural nail prep practice
• BIAB application demo
• different ways of application
• students practice

Week 3. 

• BIAB overlay vs extensions
• BIAB and Gelpolish
• demos and more students practice

Week 4. 

• BIAB and nail art techniques
• Variety of BIAB colours and styles for practice

Course Day & Time: Thursday evening 7.00 – 9.30pm

Note: Course fee includes Acrylic Nail Kit to the value of €100

The kit includes: Primer 15ml, Nail Cleanser 100ml, Nail Wipes, BIAB colour gel 15ml, Set of nail files, orange wood stick for cuticles, Top coat 15ml, Dust Brush

Course Format: In class with tutor

Duration: 4 weeks – Maximum of 12 students in class
