This is a three-evening course on acting for the camera for those of you seeking to try On-Camera work as a beginner. We will be videotaping class work and learning basic acting techniques for on-camera auditions, improvisation, and some scripted work.
Participants will glimpse the filmmaking process, but emphasis will be on the acting process as tailored for the camera. Because it is a process-oriented course, we do not keep or share the work that is done in the class. This allows more time for the acting work, and less time is spent on the technical elements.
This class has a smaller class size and is limited to 10 students maximum in order to provide the highest quality of instruction.
