Brazilian Portuguese

Discover Brazilian Portuguese through practical communication and everyday situations. This course is open to learners with a wide range of experience, from complete beginners to those who already have some Portuguese. Classes are designed to be flexible and inclusive, with activities adapted so that everyone can take part, build confidence and progress at their own pace. The focus is on using Portuguese in real-life situations from the very beginning. Students will develop useful vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and speaking skills, everyday expressions and an understanding of key grammar and sentence structures.

Classes are practical, communicative and interactive. Sessions may include short explanations, pair work, role plays, listening activities, games and cultural material, with plenty of opportunities to use Portuguese in a relaxed and supportive environment. Throughout the course, students will explore topics such as greetings and introductions, family and everyday life, numbers and time, daily routines, food and drink, getting around, shopping, social situations and talking about past experiences. The course also offers an introduction to Brazilian culture, including food, music, cities, regions, festivals and everyday life in Brazil.
