The Teagasc Career & Course Information Day will take place on the 7th March 2019 from noon to 3 pm at the Teagasc College building in the National Botanic Gardens.

This college offers full and part-time courses in Horticulture to people currently employed, or looking to start a career, in Horticulture.

What you will study

The following training programmes are provided at the Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture:

  • BSc Level 7 in Horticulture
  • QQI Level 5 in Horticulture (Full Time)
  • QQI Level 6 in Horticulture (Full Time)
  • Component Awards Level 5 and Level 6
  • Summer Course in Garden Design, Plant Propagation, Landscape Construction, and Maintenance

Gemma Creagh

Gemma is a nomadic writer, filmmaker, & journalist. She was born in Cork, lives in Dublin, and studied in Belfast & Galway, where she graduated from NUIG’s Writing MA. She has penned articles for national publications and is the editorial assistant for Film Ireland Magazine. Gemma was the writer and co-producer of the five-part comedy ‘Rental Boys’ for RTÉ’s Storyland. Her short films have screened at festivals around the world.
