The Irish Universities Association (IUA) invites you to the capstone event for MicroCreds project on Thursday 12th February 2026 in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin.
MicroCreds is an ambitious €14.3 million project (2020-2026), funded under the Human Capital Initiative Pillar 3, focused on transforming lifelong learning in Ireland through the development and mainstreaming of micro-credentials. The MicroCreds project has been led by the IUA in partnership with eight universities: Dublin City University, Maynooth University, Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork, University College Dublin, University of Galway and University of Limerick with TU Dublin joining the project in early 2025.
The MicroCreds Capstone Event will showcase the innovation, impact and key outcomes of the MicroCreds Project, highlighting how the initiative has supported the development of high-quality, flexible micro-credentials across Ireland’s higher education sector.
The event will also mark the launch of the MicroCreds Final Report and reflect on how the project has helped position Ireland as a global leader in the development, delivery and national promotion of micro-credentials, while also exploring future priorities for further mainstreaming lifelong learning in Ireland.
