The conference will bring together patients, members of the public, clinicians, and researchers to identify ways to better involve stakeholders in shaping delivery of healthcare in Ireland.
Patients, members of the public and clinicians are key stakeholders in any healthcare service. They interact with healthcare services in their daily lives, and their experiences are central to improving these services. This conference aims to create a space for patients, members of the public, and clinicians to come together and identify ways their knowledge and experience can be incorporated into evidence-based approaches to shaping delivery of healthcare in Ireland, specifically in relation to clinical guideline development and health technology assessment (HTA).
