The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) is a non-profit organisation with charitable status. NISO work at establishing Irish workplaces as the safest and healthiest within Europe. In particular, they deliver a wide  range of health and safety training courses at various locations throughout Ireland.
 

NISO’s Mission

 
NISO’s mission is to create clean, safe and healthy environments for Irish workers and be the best in Europe at succeeding this. They do this by:

While promoting health and safety in the workplace, NISO also offer occupational health and safety training courses in different locations around the country. These courses are updated and take place on a regular basis. Public Courses

 
For over two decades, NISO have been running courses in Health and Safety both in-house for companies as well as open to the public in their offices.
 
Their key introduction course in Occupational Health and Safety has been and still remains the foundation for many successful careers. This course is constantly revised and upgraded and also acknowledges the developments and introduction of the latest legislation.
 
Anyone looking to improve their health and safety skills can avail of NISO’s courses in General Health and Safety, Occupational First Aid, VDU/DSE and Manual Handling. These public courses run several times a year in different allocated areas.
