Are you interested in taking a free Irish Language course or about learning to master word processing? The Finglas CDETB Adult Education Centre on Barry Road has a number of ongoing programmes you can join.

Finglas CDETB Training

Free Irish Language Classes

  • Beginners: Tues: 1.30pm-3.30pm
  • Improvers: Weds: 1pm-3pm
  • Improvers: Tues 9pm-9pm

(For parents of children in Gaelscoileanna there will be courses running Wednesdays from 9am-10.30am in Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin, Glasnaon Rd. Finglas, Dublin 1).

Word Processing: QQI Level 5 Course

This course takes place in the center on Tuesdays from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

What is this course about?

  • Be valuable to employers: touch typing is one of the skills they highly value
  • Save yourself from heartache in college: get good computer skills.

Why do this course?

  • Do you wish you could type faster to get your work/assignments done more quickly?
  • Do you type at less than thirty words a minute?
  • Do you lose work when you are doing assignments, slowing yourself down?
