Tickets are now available for the Farming for Nature Festival 2026, a farmer-led celebration of nature-friendly and regenerative farming taking place on 22–23 June 2026 at Ballykilcavan Farm and Brewery, Stradbally, Co. Laois.

The festival brings together farmers, food producers, advisors, and rural communities for two days focused on practical learning, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. At its core, the event highlights real-world farming experiences and the growing movement towards systems that support biodiversity, soil health, and sustainable food production.

A Celebration of Practical Farming Knowledge

The programme is designed to reflect different stages of the farming journey, from those exploring nature-friendly approaches to farmers already working within regenerative systems.

Across the weekend, attendees can take part in:

  • Entry-level farming sessions focused on practical, accessible change

  • In-depth technical discussions led by experienced practitioners

  • Hands-on workshops and live field demonstrations

  • Informal fireside conversations exploring farming, food, and landscape

  • Evening music, food, and cultural gatherings

The festival opens on 22 June with a solstice-inspired dinner featuring a keynote address, shared food experience, and live cultural programme. The main festival day follows on 23 June with a full schedule of learning sessions and demonstrations running from morning into the evening.

Exhibitors and Community Engagement

The event will also host a curated selection of exhibitors working across farming, nature restoration, and food systems. These organisations will showcase practical tools, services, and initiatives supporting sustainable agriculture in Ireland.

Exhibitor applications are open until 1 May 2026, with limited spaces available.

A Collaborative Approach to Farming and Nature

The festival is delivered by Farming for Nature, a not-for-profit organisation supported by partners including BASE Ireland and the National Organic Training Skillnet (NOTS). Together, they aim to create a space where practical knowledge and shared experience drive meaningful change in farming systems.

Support for the 2026 event includes the Shared Island Civic Society Fund, Lifes 2 Good Foundation, the National Parks and Wildlife Service, and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

Tickets and Attendance

Two ticket options are available:

  • Solstice Dinner & Full Festival Pass (€75) – includes evening dinner on 22 June and full access to the festival on 23 June

  • Festival Day Ticket (€50) – full access to all talks, workshops, demonstrations, and evening programme on 23 June

Accommodation options are available locally, including camping, glamping, B&Bs, and hotels.

A Gathering Focused on Practical Change

The Farming for Nature Festival continues to position itself as a space for real-world learning, bringing together people who are actively shaping the future of farming and food in Ireland. With a strong emphasis on practical solutions and shared experience, the 2026 event aims to support more resilient landscapes and stronger rural communities.
