A range of studio-based painting and drawing courses is now available in Dublin at East Coast Art Studios , offering structured yet flexible options for learners who want to develop their artistic skills through direct instruction and practice.
The classes are designed for participants at all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced artists looking to refine technique. Teaching is delivered through demonstration and guided studio work, allowing students to learn by observing and applying methods in real time.
Courses cover a combination of watercolour, oil painting, and drawing, with students free to choose subject matter and style. Options include landscape, portraiture, abstraction, and classical approaches, giving participants room to develop personal direction within a structured learning environment.
Two main formats are available. A shorter option consists of 12 hours of tuition, delivered either as two full studio days (10am to 4pm) or a combination of one full day and two three-hour sessions. A longer evening course is also available, consisting of eight classes held from 6pm to 8.45pm.
Evening classes run on Mondays or Tuesdays during the term from September 1st to October 20th. Availability is limited, with Monday classes currently reduced to two remaining places, while Tuesday classes are fully booked.
Daytime sessions are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with options for either full-day or morning-only attendance.
Class sizes are intentionally small, with a maximum of nine participants, allowing for more direct feedback and individual guidance from the instructor.
These studio courses offer a structured environment for developing painting and drawing skills through hands-on practice, direct demonstration, and ongoing feedback in a small-group setting.
