Dublin Business School are holding an Open Evening on Tuesday 22 August, in their ​Aungier Street building, between ​​​4 and ​7pm.

There will be lecturers and admissions staff as well as students on hand to answer any questions from attendees.

All DBS programmes – including postgraduate, part-time and evening diplomas – are starting in a few weeks. This is a great opportunity to see the college before making your final decision.

5 Reasons to attend a DBS Open Event

Open Events are a great way to get a feel for the college, and figure out if it’s the right place for you.

  1. Firstly, you can meet the lecturers. Speak to lecturers from all the different faculties and get a real insight to what each course offers, how the course is structured and how you will be assessed.
  2. See the facilities. Take the chance to get a feel for the college and see what the lecture theatres are like along with their other facilities such as the library, common room and canteen.
  3. Get advice. If you’re not sure what course to apply for or which career path you would like to take, you can get advice from the admissions and academic staff. They can discuss your options and help you decide on the right course for you.
  4. Student experience. At an open event you will  get an insight into the many different sports and societies on offer at the college. These include sports such as football and swimming through to film and dance.
  5. Last but not least… Check out the local area. You will get a chance to see area around the college as well as local amenities.
