Dundalk Institute of Technology’s wide range of part-time courses attract students from every county in the Republic of Ireland
Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) has seen a strong growth in part-time enrolments for the 2023-2024 academic year, with numbers rising by 8% to a total of 1,070 students. This growth reflects the diverse and inclusive nature of the courses offered, with the range of courses on offer attracting participants from every county in the Republic of Ireland and nearly doubling the enrolment from Northern Ireland—from 35 to 60 students.
DKIT’s Lifelong Learning Centre co-ordinates over eighty part-time and Springboard courses. These courses are particularly suitable for those who wish to study new topics and course areas, update their professional skills or add to their qualifications. Courses at Dundalk IT are offered in the areas of Business, Humanities, Languages, Engineering, Informatics, Creative Arts, Health and Science.
