Considering doing an acting course? Applications for the Gaiety School of Acting’s one-year part-time courses close on 31 July 2017.

About the one-year part-time courses

These one-year courses are the Gaiety School of Acting’s most advanced part-time courses. The courses are restricted to adult students. Furthermore, students must be serious about acting and pursuing excellence. The tutors teaching these courses are theatre professionals as well as performers. In addition to the work conducted by tutors, students will also attend a number of classes given by specialists. These are experts in various fields, such as voice, mime, stage combat and so forth.

All of the GSA’s one-year part-time courses consist of 2 classes per week over 3 ten week terms. Furthermore, all courses operate as independent one-year programmes.  However, as each course contains consecutive levels of training, the GSA ensures that the programme serves the committed student as levels 1, 2 and 3 of a comprehensive 3-year cycle. The GSA conducts an audition and interview with all applicants for all three courses.
