This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the Springboard+ initiative, meet with DBS Springboard lecturers to find out more about your programmes of interest and visit the DBS facilities. DBS Springboard+ 2018/19

Dublin Business School (DBS), in conjunction with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) has announced, that as part of the Springboard+ 2018/19 initiative, they will be offering more Government funded Springboard+ programmes commencing in March 2019.

DBS Springboard+ programmes are now available regardless of your employment status. They are free of charge to applicants who fall under the Springboard+ ‘unemployed’ & ‘returners’ categories and there is a 10% contribution fee for applicants who are in the ’employed’ category. The HEA will fund 90% of the fees for successful employed applicants. Courses Available

The one year part-time programmes are in the areas of ICT, Big Data, Digital Marketing, RegTech, IT & Finance among others. They are delivered part-time for people who are employed and also allow applicants who are on social welfare payments, return to employment and continue with the part-time programmes after securing employment.

DBS will also be offering two year, part-time accredited Level 8 Higher Diploma ICT skills conversion awards in the areas of FinTech, Data Analytics, Software Development, and Web & Cloud Technologies. These two year ICT skills conversion courses are delivered part-time and designed for people who are employed.

DBS is also offering a full-time Level 8 Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics programme, which is designed for, and free of charge to, people who are on Social Welfare more than 9 months or those who fall into the ‘homemakers/returners’ categories.

About these Programmes

All DBS Springboard+ programmes are fully accredited by Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and span Levels 7 & 8 on The National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), to suit applicants with a range of prior qualifications and experience.

Springboard+ is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014-2020.
