For decades, the On-going Education Department at Crescent College Comprehensive SJ has been bringing night classes to the heart of Limerick. Conveniently located on the Dooradoyle Road (V94 W6W8), just across from Garryowen RFC and a short walk from the Crescent Shopping Centre, the college runs a wide variety of courses twice a year during the Spring term (JanuaryApril) and Autumn term (SeptemberDecember).
Crescent College Comprehensive SJ offers something for everyone, from hobby and leisure activities to personal and social development courses. Popular language classes include English as a Foreign Language, French, Irish, Japanese, German, and Spanish. Creative and hands-on options such as Gardening, Art/Painting, Drama, Digital Photography, Flower Arranging, Baking, Cooking, Sewing, Woodwork, Woodcarving, Dog Grooming, Calligraphy, and Creative Writing are regularly in demand.
Learners can also choose from a strong selection of personal development classes, including Pilates, Yoga, and Mindfulness/Life Coaching, as well as music courses in Tin Whistle, Ukulele, Dancing, and Guitar. For those seeking formal qualifications, courses leading to QQI certification are also available.
