Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education is still enrolling for courses beginning this September

If you are considering doing a course this September, Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education (CDCFE) are still enrolling. With over 60 programmes to choose from, ranging from Outdoor Adventure Management to Hairdressing, Fashion Design, Computer Science, Childcare and many more, prospective students are sure to find the right fit in one of the four campuses at Coolock, Raheny, Kilbarrack and Broadmeadows Sailing Centre, Malahide.

Wondering why to study a Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) course? Coláiste Dhúlaigh offers smaller class sizes, taught by industry professional tutors. Meaning that students can reach their full potential in a relaxed atmosphere. Courses are generally assessed through continued assessment, relieving exam stress, and allowing students to work on projects they are passionate about.

This year, CDCFE will offer new and exciting courses in Pre-University Psychology, Rehabilitation Sport & Exercise and a new QQI level 4 in Office and IT Skills. All courses offer progression routes into higher education and employment and are ideal for those who did not achieve the required CAO points for a university place.

Course duration varies, such as shorter traineeships in Tourism or Logistics with Forklift Licence, to one year QQI level 5 & 6 or on to two-year BTEC Diplomas that progress to BA degree level. CDCFE’s Top-Up degree courses in Animation and Film and Television Production are Springboard funded, meaning they are free for successful candidates. Graduates of these BA degrees were nominated for IFTA awards in the past.

All of CDCFE’s courses are free of charge for anyone who is currently in receipt of a social welfare payment. SUSI grants are also available for eligible students. Courses are not just for those who have a Leaving Certificate, CAO points are not required, and anyone can apply, mature and international students are welcome at Coláiste Dhúlaigh CFE.

You will find your route to success at CDCFE. Courses will begin in mid-September for the 22/23 academic year. If you would like more information, visit www.cdcfe.ie
