20 firms of Chartered Accountants will be exhibiting on the day, including all of the Big 4 , top 10 firms and smaller practices, all hoping to fill current or future graduate training positions. So it s an event not to be missed.
Chartered Accountants firms are the biggest single employer of new graduates each year in Ireland. In 2015 firms in public practice from the Big4 to smaller firms offered some 1,200 training positions.
The event which is free of charge to attend, is aimed at all students interested in Chartered Accountancy from all faculties. Last year 16% of new Chartered students came from non-accounting degree courses. First and second year students interested in securing internship experience may also want to attend and speak with firms.
In addition to the chance to discuss the application process with firms, the event will also include a number of presentations on career opportunities as a Chartered Accountant, routes into Chartered Accountancy and practical tips on CV and interview preparation.
