The course offers Video Production as an elective in stage III of the programme. Griffith College students won the SMEDIA TV Production of the Year award twice for their documentaries and gained work for their projects. Students learn how to initiate a concept, shoot and edit the piece using Premiere Pro in our editing suits on campus. This is a key skill and extremely rewarding module. Some students study a one-off module to increase their skill set.
If you already have industry experience or have gained some qualifications previously, Griffith College will look at advancing your entry to either stage II or stage III of the course. Applicants seeking advanced entry should provide links to their work, transcripts and anything for consideration in the application process.
The part-time version of the course runs three evenings per week. Sometimes this is not possible to undertake. Griffith College offer students the chance to build their degree module by module. In this instance the college will help you to choose the modules you might take, perhaps one or two per semester. Each module is accredited and adds up to your final degree. This lends itself to the busy professional who can't commit to a full year or three-year course up front.
