
The Lir Academy’s Young Actors’ Two Week Programme is designed to give young performers a taste of what it is like to study at conservatoire level, replicating two weeks in the life of a full-time acting degree.
Designed for young people aged 16-21, the course is suitable for anyone with a passionate interest in performing who may be thinking of applying to a drama academy or who would like to explore the craft of acting further. The course also covers audition technique and monologue choice and delivery, ideal for any students intending to audition for drama schools. The course is led by The Lir Academy’s teaching staff and provides an introduction to the skills required to become a professional actor.
