
A ten week evening course for beginners offers adults with a passion for musicals an opportunity to develop the fundamental techniques required to perform in musical theatre. Taught through group masterclasses and rehearsals, this intensive immersion in musical theatre will help build confidence, improve existing skills and develop new ones in a supportive and collaborative environment. During the course students will work with a singing tutor and musical director, leading theatre director and a choreographer to develop their singing, dance and performance skills.
Participants will work on new solo pieces, duets and ensemble numbers. The course will finish with a workshop performance of well-known musical theatre numbers for an invited audience of friends, families and tutors.
