
The SNA combined QQI Level 5&6 course provides the learner with an in-depth understanding of children with additional needs, the role of the Special Needs Assistant and Irish Legislation. This course aims to equip the learner to gain employment in the field of SNA. The combined course consists of three modules and has a 60-hour work placement requirement. Completing work experience will add value to the learners overall learning experience. The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to work efficiently and effectively, under direction with young children with additional needs and to equip the learner in the theory and practice underpinning the education and care of those who present with special educational needs. Completing the combined SNA course will ensure the learner gains valuable insight from all three modules which will stand to the learner when seeking employment.

Course structure The focus of this Psychology course is theoretical although discussion and practical examples of relevance will be discussed throughout.
Entry requirements To be eligible for these exams, students must have an approved Law degree or have completed the King’s Inn Diploma in Legal Studies course.
