MCSA Course (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) Overview and Audience 

Formerly known as the Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator (MCITP: Server Administrator) certification, the MCSA course (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) and credential is one of the leading certifications for Windows Server, providing a widely recognised, objective validation of your ability to perform critical, current IT job roles by using Microsoft technologies to their best advantage. The preferred entry requirements for the MCSA preparation course at CCT is that candidates should have successfully completed the CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Network+ and/or have 6–12 months experience administering client and network operating systems. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.

MSCA Course Aims and Objectives

The main aim of the MCSA Preparation Course is to demonstrate the skills and knowledge to successfully manage and troubleshoot system environments.

The programme also;

  • Focuses on a specific job role, allowing for in-depth validation of your skill set.
  • Allows you to earn more than one MCSA certification, demonstrating your abilities across multiple roles.
  • Builds on a combination of Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) prerequisites, helping you develop your technical resume with each step in your MCSA career path.

Programme Content

The MCSA Course prepares candidates directly for the following Microsoft examinations:
Exam: 70-410 –  Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012
Exam: 70-411 – Administering Windows Server 2012
Exam: 70-412 – Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services
Microsoft Official Training Kit Materials are used in the delivery of all courses listed above.

Assessment

The MCSA is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification that requires the test candidate to pass the above three exams. Students will sit the MCSA examinations on-line at an approved testing centre facility.
