| Entry Requirements | Applicants will normally hold a 2.2 Honours degree (at level 8) with a major subject/component in one of the following areas: Education, Visual Arts, Music, Drama & Theatre Studies, Dance, Creative Writing. Applicants who have a degree major in other disciplines may be considered if they have substantial and relevant professional experience of the arts and education greater than three years. * Other applicants who have substantial and relevant prior experience and/or learning may be considered. * * Acceptance under these categories will be subject to an interview. The Structured PhD programme is a four year structured programme which involves coursework in research methods, core and optional discipline specific courses and generic skills and training.
The Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology (DECPsy) is a highly sought-after three-year, full-time professional training course for candidates interested in pursuing a career as an educational psychologist.
This programme consists of six taught modules and a 20,000 word dissertation.
The course is aimed primarily at Language Teachers and other language professionals.
