Cisco’s CCNA Routing and Switching certification is widely recognized as the entry level certification for Cisco technology networking skills. The need for an intimate understanding of network infrastructure and protocols, and how they work together, has always been relevant. Now, that need is intensifying. A CCNA Routing and Switching Certification provides you with the knowledge and expertise to succeed in networking, even as technologies continue to evolve. The programme teaches you to install, monitor, and troubleshoot the network infrastructure products.
This preparation course consists of Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) and Networking Devices, Part 2 (ICND2) content merged into a single course. You will learn how to install, operate, configure, and verify a basic IPv4 and IPv6 network, including configuring a LAN switch, configuring an IP router, connecting to a WAN, and identify basic security threats. It also includes more in-depth topics that teach learners how to perform troubleshooting steps in enterprise branch office networks, preparing students for the CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
This course prepares candidates for the necessary globally accredited online exams:
100-105 – Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1)
200-105 – Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2)
OR the:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching composite exam (200-125)
Students will sit the CCNA examinations online at an approved testing centre facility.
