
This 60-credit, 3-semester part-time, predominately online programme has been developed in collaboration with Teagasc Ballyhaise Agricultural College, is ideally suited to holders of level 7 qualifications in Agriculture and related areas who wish to progress to a level 8 qualification. This programme offers students the opportunity to develop new skills to keep pace with ongoing technological and policy changes in the Agriculture sector, with the additional benefit of being prepared for a possible new career as an entrepreneur or in the Agri-food sector.

This online part-time course (1 year) aims to provide students with a strong grounding and transferable skills in Digital Animation Production processes, a solid understanding of the Production Pipeline, and techniques for both 2D and 3D.
The Certificate in Programming is an introductory one-year part-time programme in which participants develop basic skills in programming, web development and databases.
Graduates of the Certificate in Animal Biotechnology will gain an understanding of areas such as animal genetics, selective breeding and lineage traceability, and how molecular biology can be applied in the in the construction of genetically modified organisms within the animal setting.
