Our BSc (Hons) in Athletic Therapy is the first and only Level 8 degree of its kind to deliver a blended-learning model designed for maximum flexibility without compromising clinical competency. This four‑year programme prepares students to become ARTI-accredited Athletic Therapists, integrating evidence‑based clinical practice, applied rehabilitation sciences, and comprehensive professional preparation.
Students engage in remote, interactive lectures, supported by high‑quality digital learning resources and on‑campus practical sessions. This structure allows learners to balance academic progression with work, sport, or personal commitments, while still gaining the essential hands‑on skills required for clinical practice.
Across the programme, students develop competencies in injury prevention, neuromusculoskeletal assessment and diagnosis, acute care of injuries and illnesses, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning, and professional responsibility and development alongside strong foundations in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sport and exercise science. Integrated clinical placements and an end‑of‑programme capstone clinical exam ensure graduates are workplace‑ready and aligned with national and international Athletic Therapy standards allowing for international employment opportunities.
The programme is ideal for learners seeking a modern, accessible, and professionally accredited pathway into the field of sports injury management and rehabilitation.
