100% Funded: Microsoft Word

This course is government-funded for all Irish residents with a PPS number, whether in full time employment or looking for work. The programme is delivered online by Cenit College, an authorised training provider for eCollege.

This course aims to provide learners with the essential skills required to use Microsoft Word to a professional standard. It prepares learners for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Associate exam, validating their ability to create, edit, and manage documents for business, academic, or personal use.

By completing this course you will be able to:

• Manage documents and navigate Word environment effectively.
• Format text, paragraphs, and sections to create professional documents.
• Create and manage tables, lists, and references.
• Apply design and layout options including themes, watermarks, headers/footers.
• Insert and format graphics, SmartArt, and other objects.
• Use collaboration and review tools (track changes, comments).
• Prepare documents for distribution, including proofreading and finalising.

By successfully passing the exam at the end of the course, you will also achieve a Microsoft Word (MS 365 Apps) Certificate, an industry recognised qualification certified by Microsoft.
