Have you always wanted to paint and draw and create art? Or are you a practicing artist, graphic designer, illustrator, fashion designer or architect who wants to further develop your skills in the area of color, drawing or painting? Are you someone who used to make art, is tired of being in front of a computer and seriously wants to nourish your artistic side again? ? Whether your interest is to create a portfolio, on a work sabbatical or retired and want to follow your passion to make art we have classes that can help you attain beautiful techniques in painting and drawing.
We host daytime and evening classes that can be taken intensively if visiting Ireland from abroad or over a long period if you live in Dublin city and along the East coast of Ireland. These classes are during the day and evening to suit different timetables for students and professionals. The classes work in an incremental manner and are individual to each clients progress and artistic interests.
In the studio you will learn by direct demonstration from the teacher – in a systematic way and over a period of time – how to paint flesh, landscape and abstraction. The teaching philosophy is as it was in the traditional ateliers of Europe of the 1500-1900’s with one key difference: the studio takes all the techniques from the Renaissance, the French and Venetian schools, Impressionism, Expressionism and present day painting and study these as one.
