Leaving Certificate – Spanish (Ordinary and Higher Level)

Improve Spanish in a supportive environment. Small classes give excellent preparation for Oral and Written Examinations.

Approximately two years’ experience of learning Spanish necessary for this course. Oral
examinations will take place in March/April 2024 as well as written examinations in June 2024.
Develop your Spanish, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. This course is very useful as
additional language tuition for Leaving Certificate students currently in school, or for those who wish
to study Leaving Certificate Spanish for interest or as a foundation for higher studies.

NOTE:

1. All courses are in preparation for Leaving Certificate examinations of June 2024.

2. Booklists to be supplied by teacher unless otherwise stated.

3. For detailed syllabi, exam papers and general information on the Leaving Certificate please go to State Exams Commission website at www.exams.ie

4. It will be possible for registered students to sit the Leaving Certificate examination in Crumlin College in June 2024 as External Candidates. Students enter and pay for their exam on www.exams.ie in January 2024. There used to be an examination fee which was approximately €100 for one subject. It has been the custom that medical card holders don’t pay an examination fee. The examination fee has been waived since COVID -19 but may be re-instated in the future.

5. Extensive private study and homework is essential for all Leaving Certificate subjects.
