Leaving Certificate – Maths (Ordinary Level)

Leaving Certificate one year course in Ordinary Level Mathematics for adults or for the those wishing to repeat Maths. Preparation for 2023 exam.

Ordinary level Mathematics is a requirement for Apprenticeships and most College courses.
Students will need the following for class
1. Scientific Calculator
2. Project Maths Texts & Tests 3 (Latest edition)
3. Leaving Certificate Ordinary Level Maths Exam Papers
4. Formulae and Tables Book (State Exams Commission)

NOTE:

1. All courses are in preparation for Leaving Certificate examinations of June 2024.
2. Booklists to be supplied by teacher unless otherwise stated.
3. For detailed syllabi, exam papers and general information on the Leaving Certificate please
go to State Exams Commission website at www.exams.ie
4. It will be possible for registered students to sit the Leaving Certificate examination in
Crumlin College in June 2024 as External Candidates. Students enter and pay for their exam
on www.exams.ie in January 2024. There used to be an examination fee which was
approximately €100 for one subject. It has been the custom that medical card holders don’t
pay an examination fee. The examination fee has been waived since COVID -19 but may be
re-instated in the future.
5. Extensive private study and homework is essential for all Leaving Certificate subjects.
