This course has been particularly developed to help farmers, gardeners, landscape managers and horticultural workers get rid of weeds in their lands. However, this course is also a wonderful opportunity to learn in-depth about the various types of weeds that hinder human activities, provided you have a recognised qualification at level 3 or above in a related discipline to get started with this course.

This professionally narrated e-course will first clear you about weeds. You will come to understand a weed in and out, along with its characteristics and classification. The course will also focus on the commonly found weed species and the importance of controlling them.

This course will then direct you towards weed control. You will get to learn the characteristics of weed control methods that are important in places such as agriculture, horticulture and gardening. Various weed control methods have been introduced to suit various situations. Therefore, this course has also taken the responsibility to guide you on the various weed control methods, followed by modules that will demonstrate you on how to safely apply chemical herbicide. By the end of this course, you will have a significant knowledge on weeds and weed control to improve your day to day activities.

Method of Assessment

In order to complete the Diploma in Weeds Identification and Control – Level 4 successfully , all students are required to complete a series of assignments.
