Contemporary Embroidery: New Ways with Stitch and Technique
Contemporary embroidery builds on traditional techniques and explores new and alternate ways of approaching stitch. Participants will explore and experiment with traditional hand embroidery stitches to embellish items either for the home or to wear. At the end of the five week course participants will not only have a new stitch vocabulary but also a finished piece displaying their new skills.
Students will be supplied with a materials list to purchase on enrolment. Note: This is now an ONLINE course as a result of COVID-19 restrictions.
